Methoblogger Mashup in Alabama? March 7 or 14?

Will Willimon will be leading two “discussions” about reading the Bible like a Wesleyan. He says the event is open to ALL interested pastors and lay persons. Of course, we all know that by “all” he means me. So, who is up for a road trip to Birmingham, Alabama? There are two dates, March 7 and March 14.

Do you think the bishop would be amuzed by a mess of Methobloggers showing up to hear him discuss the Wesley Study Bible?

 

I say "Let's go!"  Which date is best??

My family is driving down to Huntsville Friday night for the Willimon Wesley Workshop (WWW). We are then heading south to visit the Mouse in Orlando. Any fun stuff for mom and two kids to do while I'm spending the morning being churchy?

Looking forward to Huntsville.

I'd love to meet up for dinner. Maybe RevAbi can also recommend a place to stay. The last time I was there I chose poorly.

i will pass it by the wifey to see about it and making a trip to b'ham. my mom would kill us if we came down to bama and didn't get all the way to see them. i'd opt for the 14th as we have PodCamp Nashville scheduled for the 7th. Shall see www.gavoweb.com

March 7th is at a larger venue. That could be either good or bad. If ya'll come to Alabama, I'll do whatever I can to welcome you - maybe a get together at my place afterwards? If you need/want any help, let me know.
