I don't believe that the United Methodist Church in the United States has to continue shrinking.
In fact as a potential church planter I'm counting on being a part of significant growth, but this is the world as we know it in the United Methodist family.
We'll soon be a majority African church. I think that'll be a good thing if we're humble to listen. I've really learned quite a lot from African brothers and sisters at Asbury Seminary.
