Rev. Brandon Wrencher is a minister and organizer working within faith, education, and non-profit sectors at the intersections of decolonizing church, contemplative activism, and local presence to build beloved communities. Brandon is the founding pastor of The Good Neighbor Movement, a new church start in Greensboro, NC. He is a provisional elder in the Western North Carolina Conference of The United Methodist Church and serves on several local and national faith-based social justice committees and boards. Brandon holds a Bachelor of Arts in Religion from UNC-Chapel Hill, a Master of Divinity from North Park Theological Seminary, and completed post-graduate studies in theology and ethics at Duke Divinity School. Rooted in his formation in small towns and the Black Church, Brandon’s visionary leadership has spanned rural, small town and urban communities in North Carolina and Chicago. Brandon is married to Erica, a public educator and altogether cooler and more spiritual person than Brandon! They have two sons Phillip (5) and Morris (2).
