Welcome to the new and hopefully improved MethoBlog. We have been saying for years that it’s time to update, with the hopes of moving to a WordPress based site, but moving some 200+ feeds is no easy task. Recently we stumbled upon some tools that made our task MUCH easier, and we’ve been playing around with a prototype for a few days, trying to work out the bugs. We think the site looks a ton better, and generally will be more functional for all involved.
One change you will notice is that the five most recent blog posts will be featured on the front page of the MethoBlog. We will still post commentaries and updates from time to time, but they will be featured in the slider box at the top of the site. This means that the content aggregated here will have a much more visible place on the site.
One thing to note is that the RSS feeds will be changing. If you subscribe via feedburner, we’ve already changed things over for you. However for those who use the native site feeds you will want to update your feedreader. There will be a listing of available feeds for the site in a block on the front page.
We hope and pray that this changeover doesn’t cause too much of an inconvenience. We think it positions the site for many more years of use. Thanks for your support of the site, and we look forward to talking to you in the future.
